“ Some of best clams, fish and chips around. It’s too bad that they’re only open seasonally but it’s definitely something to look forward to and makes it kind of a special experience for my girl and I. She always gets the scallops and chips and I usually get the 1/2 clams and 1-pc fish and chips. Definitely my favourite spot for it. Can’t wait to hit them up with her again next year. ”
“ Me and the old lady had a hankering for some fish and chips. we did 140 the whole way from halifax and made it to gazoos 4 minutes before closing... The staff here are amazing. Closing was supposed to be at 7, but people were still showing up, and they were still taking orders. The cook made amazing food. And the young lady taking the orders was very polite and energetic. The chips were cooked to perfection, and the fish was a crispy crunchy melt in your mouth and make drule sensation the coleslaw was delightfuly delicious and people if you are a clam lover like myself i recommendthis place. As for my fish and chips spot (oh my cod) in mahone Bay used to be the spot for our fish and chips, but we both agree GAZOOS IS NOW THE SPOT !!! I always forget to take pics ”
“ The clams make me weep! they are the best I've had. The fish and chips are always off the hook good. Lots of other options too. The gorgeous painted fish sign is back this year, hung right next to the cute painting of Gazoo and the Welcome Earthlings sign (so happy the fish is back!) love the outdoor picnic tables. Staff are awesome. Gazoos is the place to be. ”
“ Absolutely excellent - stopped in here because the other fish spot down the road was closed and we are so glad it was or else we wouldn’t have ran into this spot. Unbelievably fresh, huge thick pieces of fish with just a light batter that was exquisite. Homemade tarter and homemade coleslaw just topped it all off. Portions were top notch, home cut fries were to perfection and we will be back every time we are in the area! Good choice! ”

My wife had the special, clam, fish and chips, which she said was the best fish she has ever had.
